We’re excited to welcome runners back to the Blue Mountain 30K — and to introduce a brand-new 10K option for 2025. Both courses showcase the best of the Blue Mountain Recreation Area, weaving along single- and double-track trails through ponderosa pine forest, open meadows, and wide-open views of the Missoula Valley.
The signature 30K covers roughly 18.6 miles with 3,600 feet of climbing, rewarding runners with sweeping ridgeline vistas and quiet stretches of classic Montana scenery. The new 10K offers a shorter, accessible way to experience the same beautiful terrain, perfect for newer trail runners or anyone looking for a quicker adventure.
Whether you’re taking on the full 30K challenge or enjoying the flowy 10K, you’ll finish to a welcoming, community-driven atmosphere and a great morning on the mountain. We can’t wait to see you at the start line!
