    Erin Forde

Hometown: I grew up in Fargo, ND... I've been in Missoula for 10 years though, so I think this is home

Years Running: Since I was in 8th grade so 18 years? Oh wow

Words of advice for a new runner: Find a buddy. Everything is more fun with a friend!

Favorite local route: I don't do this enough, but I love running waterworks on a nice summer evening. Where you will find me the most is running on the riverfront trail with the HKXC team!

Best running memory: gosh, I'm lucky that this question is so tough to answer! I recently got the opportunity to run the Chicago marathon and that was such a cool experience, but my all time favorite memories are when I get to see my Hellgate runners accomplish their goals individually and as a team. It fills my cup!

Favorite post run brunch: Mmmmmmm anything hot and savory with some coffee of course!

    Chris Kosena

Years Running: I consistently ran as a young kid, often entering 5ks with my Mom. After an extended break, I started back on a plan to improve my health through running about 8 years ago.

Words of advice for a new runner: Take it slow, listen to your body. This is a journey that will take time, but the rewards that come along the way are amazing.

Favorite local route: We are blessed to be in a city that has so many fun and spectacular trails, it is really impossible to choose just one. If I had to choose one, it would be the classic trip up to the M. It is a great place to embrace the great view of Missoula and you will probably always see someone you know along the way.

Best running memory: Everything surrounding the weekend surrounding the Missoula half marathon. I ran both the 5ks leading up to it with my daughter and ran the actual half with my cousin. To share the weekend with family and the community as a whole was something that will forever be remembered.

Favorite post run brunch: I am not a huge brunch persongive me a slice of pizza at any point of the day and I will be happy!!!

What is your favorite way to spend a day off? I always like to kick the day off with a run. It sets an amazing tone for anything down the road. After that, playing 18 holes of golf with my family or friends is a must. That leads to ending the day sitting outside by the fire with my wife and daughter. All of that makes for a spectacular day.

What is one thing that will instantly make your day better? Seeing or talking to my wife and daughter is something that always puts a smile on my face. They are everything to me and what brightens my day, everyday!!!
