We opened the Runner’s Edge store in 2001 to provide runners, walkers, triathletes, and our great community of Missoula, Montana with the proper footwear and accessories in order to help you become better at your sport or lead an active lifestyle. From the elite athlete to the beginning walker or employee on their feet all day, the staff at the Runner’s Edge gives exceptional service and advice to all of our customers.
With our wide selection of the latest shoes, apparel, accessories, and our knowledge of running, we hope to show you how passionate we are at what we do. We look forward to helping you get started in the sport we love so much. Not a runner? That’s OK! Every day we help customers that are looking for a gym shoe, walking shoe, or simply a shoe that helps them feel good while on their feet all day. We are here to help!
Stop by the store in downtown Missoula and discover how the proper fit will make your running, walking, and everyday life a much more enjoyable experience. Any member of our staff will sit down and discuss your running or walking history, any injuries you’ve dealt with, and provide an in-store gait analysis to determine the perfect pair of shoes for your individual needs.
In addition to making you happy from the feet up, we believe strongly in giving back to our community. We are proud to sponsor many dozens of events, fundraisers, and organizations every year. We also hold annual fundraisers to support groups like Youth Homes and Climate Smart Missoula. Giving back is part of who we are. By supporting the Runner’s Edge, you’re helping us support our community. Thank you!
Our staff embraces the lifestyle we promote, so hopefully we’ll see you too running down the Kim Williams Trail, working on your speed at the next Tuesday track practice, or hiking up Mount Sentinel. Happy Running!
