Ever wonder who has the speediest runners in the region? Well wonder no longer! Come join runners from all over the state to compete in the Montana Cup, a cross country race where participants go head to head to find out what part of our state can claim bragging rights until next year. This year’s event will be held in Bozeman at the East Gallatin Recreation Area.
In this race, Montana is broken up into seven regions (Butte, Billings, Bozeman, Kalispell, Missoula, Helena, Great Falls) and has two races (Men & Women). The distance can be anywhere from 5k-8k and you won’t find out the distance until day of.
Each race will be broken down to see who has the fastest Open (age 39 years or less) and Masters team (age 40+). We’ve seen everything from hay bales to smoke machines to a pomegranate as a prize. It’s just plain fun 😉
Be sure to register soon! If you register before October 15th, registration is only $12 (w/o jersey) or $27 (includes jersey). If you’re interested in representing Missoula, please reach out to Anders (anders@runnersedgemt.com) for the guy’s team or Meg (meg@runnersedgemt.com) for the ladies team.
